Columbus Blue Jackets Panarin Likely to be Traded

Blue Jackets forward Artemi Panarin is likely to be moved before the deadline.

Thoughts? Who are his best suitors?

I don’t think it’s a good decision. Sure they need to get something back, but this is their year to try and go all the way. If they trade him, they may as well trade Bobrovsky too.

If he were to be traded, and they are looking to add, I think Montreal would be a great spot not only for this year but also signing an extension.

If know they can't resign him I guess it makes sense. The fans won't be happy, but realistically they are in the 5-8 range in the East, and likely aren't going to win. Might as well at the least shop him and see what's available.

"Several" contenders have reached out to the Jackets already about acquiring Panarin.

Panarin has changed agents, and will test free agency in the offseason.

Thoughts?

I've heard that Florida is interested in both Panerin and Bob. I think Bob would be much more beneficial to Florida, both either player would make that team a lot better.
