Detroit Red Wings RIP Ted Lindsay

Former Red Wing and Hockey Hall of Famer Ted Lindsay has passed away at 93. Lindsay was another mainstay on the line with Gordie Howe.

    Rest in peace, Ted!

Great player who did great things to help establish the NHLPA as we know it today. Definitely a sad day for the game.

    RIP Teddy

Did not realize how much Ted Lindsay did for the players in the NHL. He helped form the NHLPA and abandoned his HOF induction because women were not allowed to attend the HOF ceremonies back in the day. Thanks to Ted Lindsay, women can now attend the league's HOF inductions and celebrate with their loved ones.

This week we discussed Ted Lindsay's legacy in more detail on the official NHL podcast of thebrkdwnsports.com called End to End Puck Talk.
