Miami Heat Bosh Officially to Retire in March

ďThat part of my life is over. That has been a tough thing to deal with but Iím good, which has taken a long time [for me to accept] Ö I could have kept playing. But man, that time has passed. Iíve made the decision not to pursue it anymore.Ē
The Heat will retire his number 1 jersey on March 26'th.

Such a shame; really wanted him to play again. But he had quite the career between Miami and Toronto.

I didn’t even know he wasn’t officially retired.

The last I heard was a year ago on Bill Simmons' pod that he was still looking to get back or at least evaluating his options. The door was open.

Sad. Bosh has been a class act his entire career. Such a shame this happened, but his next stop is the Hall of Fame.

I always wish he could make it back, even if it was just the Big 3, but i am also thankful that the NBA put their foot down. Bosh is a great player and a draw for fans, but they put his health first and thats big.

Roughly a week and a half until the retirement of Bosh's jersey...
